A new website and a pandemic

Challenge

IVC Evidensia wanted to help their target group with a new website. The problem was that they couldn't identify who their target groups were.

Solution

Using tools as Google analytics and Hotjar, I could identify who the visitors were with the help of a poll, learn about their goals and purpose on the website, and learn how they were navigating through and interacting with the website to reach their goals. By knowing who the audience were and probable desired outcome, I could prioritize the right content and support them in every step of the journey.

Result

A new sitemap and both new and improved user flows assisting IVC Evidensias main target groups, jobseekers looking for open positions and clinic owners interested in joining the IVC Evidensia network. This was well recieved by stakeholders, editors working with content and from employees.

The dawn of a new virus put a halt to this project, but the next step would be to validate hypothetical user goals, needs and pains by meeting, talking and testing the design on our target groups

From print to digital

Challenge

IVC's Brand Guide was exclusively for print and was not adapted for web.

Since I was the first Designer joining the team, there was no asset library to be seen, meaning I had to start from scratch with how things should look, feel and work.

Solution

Create a digital identity that ensure great contrast in colors as well as using font sizes that gives great readability and reducing cognitive load. While designing the new web, build a design system simultaneously to save time.

Result

IVC Evidensia now have a Digital style guide and a smaller design system  which they can continue to improve and build. Both the styleguide and design system was very appreciated by the developer who I worked close with during this project, making her work a bit easier.
